The Battle of Kristin vs Michelle....

Warm-Up:
- 3 rounds:
- 1 Lap High Knee/Elbow Skips
- 10 Jumping Jacks
- Dynamic
Strength:
- Deadlift 7-7-7+ (40%-50%-60%)
WOD:
- 3 rounds:
- 5 Ring Dips
- 10 Push Ups (Hand Release)
- 15 Sit-Ups
- 20 Air Squats
Cash Out:
- Max Effort 500m Row
With it being Halloween, we only had 3 morning classes since trick-or-treating was that night. The 9:30am class came out in full force with 12 athletes ready to tackle the workout.
Not quite sure if Kristin & Michelle realized it or did it on purpose
but it almost seemed like they were in a friendly battle during this WOD. They made sure to face each other during their Ring Dips & then stayed right next to each other thru the entire WOD & finished within 10 seconds of each other! Now they could have done it because they wanted to push each other or they could have done it just because they are such good friends, either way, both of you did a great job in the WOD & I think helped push the other one along!
Most of us in the gym seem to have that one person or sometimes more than one that we push ourselves to either keep up with it or use as a baseline of our strength & the WOD's. That is completely fine & a great thing to do! If you haven't learned yet CrossFit is all about our athletes all being good at different things. That is how we learn from each other & how we grow while constantly challenging ourselves! If we were all 100% perfect at every skill, every WOD, every cash out, every strength, it would be PRETTY BORING if you ask me! 
SO, learn from each other, push each other, & cheer each other on!

We also had some great times on the Cash Out which was the 500m Max Effort Row. EVERY single person that did it had a time less than 2:48! SO proud of all of you especially for right after a WOD! Those of you that missed it because of the cancelled night classes, don't worry....you will have your chance soon enough!!

- Dan P=1:54.8
For the girls our top 3 times were:
- Michelle R=1:54.3
- Kelly=1:59
- Karina=2:08.4
