Happy Birthday Chris!!

Today's Strength was the combo of Push & Split Jerk.  2-2-2-2-2-2-2 @65%-75% of your 1 rep max and did 1 rep of each to count for 1 combo set.  Some of you were not thrilled about having to do both since you prefer to do one over the other.  However, we are proud of you for going outside your comfort zone & working on both.

One of the things most seem to forget after you Split Jerk is what foot moves first.  A great cue to remember is 'FFF'-Front Foot First.  It may be silly but it definitely helped as you could see some of you mouthing it to yourself to make sure you got it right!

The WOD looked tough on the board but was ridiculously tougher when you were doing it!  We heard so many people say that "This WOD was in their top 5 hardest WOD's!"  I take it there was lots of swearing at Brandon thru this entire WOD & after when you looked at your battle wounds!  AND.....there were MANY!   There was blood, ripped skin, rope burn in all kinds of places, etc!

The Birthday Boy did the WOD RX & killed it while taking the top time of the day by almost 6 minutes!!!  His rope climbs are ridicuously fast!  Must be why almost all the pictures of him on the rope were blurry!  Great Job Chris!  

KUDOS to EVERYONE that did the WOD!  If you couldn't do rope climbs, you did rope progressions & every person did AMAZING!  Props to Michelle R who is afraid of heights but did all Rope Climbs!  Props to Kelly who did all rope climbs for the first time ever!

We had a VIP working in the gym that not only has the cutest smile ever and will be a BEAR when he gets older but was able to give all of us some lessons on the perfect squat!  Don't you agree???!!!
